3 C. Mashed cooked sweet potatoes (yams)
You can use canned if you don't have time to
cook them. (Boil them with the skins on it
is easy to peel them when you cook them)
1 C. White Sugar
2 Eggs, Well beaten
1/3 C. Milk
1/2 tsp.Cinnamon (or less)
1/4 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 C. Melted Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
TOPPING
1/2 C. Firmly Packed Brown Sugar
1/4 C. Flour
2-1/2 T. Butter, Melted
1/2 C. Chopped Pecans

Directions:

Bake 350 in a greased 2 Qt. casserole, oblong dish.
Combine all ingredients; mix well. Pour into casseroled. Cover with topping.
TOPPING
Combine all ingredients and m ix. Sprinkle on top of potato mixture.
Bake for 25 minutes

This is great at Thanksgiving and Christmas or anytime of the year. Everyone seems to really like it and it goes well with Turkey.
