French Onion Soup Recipe

3 Cups chopped onions
4 Tablespoon. Butter
2 Cans (10 1/2oz.) Condensed Beef Broth
1 Can Water
1 Tablespoon. Worchestershire Sauce
Sliced French Bread
Swiss Cheese Slices

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in butter for 20 minutes until transparent.
Add beef broth, water and Worchestershire sauce. Bring that mixture to a boil, then simmer (with lid on) for 10 minutes.

Place one slice of bread in the bottom of each soup dish (use oven safe bowls).
Pour soup over bread and top with Swiss cheese.
Broil until bubbly.
Serve hot. Beware of HOT bowls!
