2 C. Sugar
3 C. Apple, unpeeled & cut into small pieces
2 eggs
3 C. Flour
1 C. nuts - pecan's
1-1/2 tsp. Soda
1-1/4 C. oil
1-1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1 tsp. salt
1-1/2 C. powdered sugar
1/2 C. orange juice

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 325-350. Cover apples with sugar; let stand 30 minutes. Combine dry ingredients and mix well with apples. Add wet ingredients; mix lightly. Bake one hour in well greased & floured bundt pan or 2 oaf pans. Let cool 15 minutes in pan; turn out on serving plate.
ICING:
Mix powdered sugar & orange juice together.
The icing should be ready to pour on the cake before it is turned out of the pan. Cool for a few minutes after pouring icing.
