Ham hocks
2 T bacon drippings
2 tsp seasoning salt
1 tsp salt
1 clove garlic
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1 large onion, chopped as desired
cracked black pepper
2 lbs fresh green beans

Directions:
Directions:
Fill a large pot with water and add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 30 to 45 minutes. Add beans, cook until tender; remove from heat, check for salt, and let beans cool in seasoned water. Reheat before serving. (If using canned beans; drain, rinse with cold water several times and cook 20 to 30 minutes)
