1 box corn flakes, crushed
1 large bag slivered almonds
1 c. (2 cubes) margarine, melted
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
Garnishes: chocolate syrup, maraschino cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Brown almonds in broiler until toasted (watch closely). Mix cornflakes, almonds, margarine and brown sugar together. Mold ice cream into balls by hand and roll in corn flake mixture. Place on waxed paper. Keep ice cream balls frozen until 20 minute prior to serving (to allow them to soften slightly). Serve on a doily and top with chocolate syrup and a cherry.
