2 packages of yeast
1 cup of warm water
1 cup of warm milk
1 tbsp. sugar
3 cups flour

2 eggs
1/3 cup shortening, melted
1-1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
3-4 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bread bowl mix first 5 ingredients. Let set for 30 minutes. This should look like a sponge. Make sure the milk and water are not too hot or the yeast will not work. After 30 minutes, Add the eggs, melted shortening (not too hot), salt, sugar and flour. Stir together. Knead the dough until smooth. Place back in the bowl and let rise until double in size. Pinch off buns and place on greased baking sheet. Let rise again until double in size. Bake in a 400 degree oven until brown.
