1 stick butter
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
3/4 cup milk
3 cups sliced fresh peaches or 1 large can peaches
1 cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in square baking dish.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in bowl. Add milk and mix well. Pour over margarine. DO NOT STIR. Add peaches. DO NOT STIR. Pour remaining 1 cup sugar over mixture. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
