1/4 c. chopped onion
2 T. butter
2 T. flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. sharp shredded Cheddar cheese
6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
1 1/2 c. crushed potato chips
10-12 slices of bacon, crisply cooked and crumbled

Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion in butter until tender. Blend in flour; add milk and stir until thick. Add cheese and melt.
Spray a 10" x 6" or similar sized baking dish with PAM. Place a layer of egg slices on the bottom of the dish; cover with 1/2 cheese sauce, 1/2 of the crumbled bacon and 1/2 of the potato chips. Repeat layers. Bake at 350 for 15 - 20 minutes.

May be prepared in advance and refrigerated until time to bake and serve. This was served at a bridal shower given for me back in 1969 by Helen Bailey.
