3 lbs. ground beef
2 T. shortening
1 c. onion, chopped
1 c. celery, diced
1 green pepper chopped
1 garlic clove, minced
2 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. ketchup
3 beef bouillon cubes, crushed
tsp. paprika
tsp. pepper
1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
1 c. water
3 T. vinegar
3 tsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. dry mustard

Heat shortening in skillet and brown meat, discard fat. Combine all ingredients in crock-pot, stirring well, Cover and cook on low for 6 8 hours or high for 3 -4, auto for 5 hours. Serve over warmed burger buns or noodles.
