1-1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
1 cup milk
2 cups sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp.soft butter
1 tbsp. powdered sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the sugar and shortening together. Add the eggs, vanilla and milk. Mix together. Add the flour , baking powder, and salt and stir. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan and bake in a 350 degree oven until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
When the cake is done, take the butter and melt over the cake. Sprinkle with the powdered sugar and cinnamon right away.
