1 c sugar
3 T flour
3 egg yolks (reserve whites for meringue)
1 c boiling water
Juice of one lemon
2 T butter

1 baked 9 inch pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar and flour; add egg yolks, then water. Place in double boiler; cook until thick. Add lemon juice and butter; cool. Pour into baked pie crust. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 6 T sugar to egg whites gradually; place on pie. Bake for 7 minutes at 300 F.
