6 large cucumbers (sliced thin) 2 med. onions (sliced) 1 large green pepper (sliced)
Brine: 2 c white vinegar 1/4 c table salt 3-1/2 c sugar
Mix Brine ingredients together and stir often until sugar dissolves (about 1 hour). Pour over other ingredients in a glass jar. Put in refrigerator - they will keep until used up. They can be used in an hour or so. You can also add celery seed, if you like.
