9 eggs
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp nutmeg
3 cups half-n-half
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
24-30 slices 3/4" thick french toast slices

Syrup:
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup water
2 tbsp butter
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, lightly beat eggs. Mix in half-n-half, sugar, vanilla, and nutmeg. Place bread in a single layer in two well-greased 15x10x1" baking pans. Pour egg mixture over bread in each pan. Turn bread over to coat both sides. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake uncovered at 400 for 20-22 minutes or until golden.

While baking toast, make syrup. Bring brown sugar, syrup, and water to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Add pecans and butter and simmer 2 more minutes.
