10 slices of bread
4 tsp. margarine
1 lb. pork sausage
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
6 eggs; beaten
2 C. fat free half and half
1 tsp. salt
green onions; sliced

1) Remove crusts from the bread and place them end-to-end in a greased 9 x 12 baking dish. Spread the bread with margarine.
2) Cook the sausage, breaking it up as it cooks and drain. Spoon the sausage over the bread, then sprinkle with cheese and sliced green onions.
3) Combine the beaten eggs, half and half and salt. Mix well and pour over the bread mixture. Cover the casserole and refrigerate overnight.
4) Remove from the refrigerator for 15 min. before baking. Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 35 - 40 min. or until set.
