2 1/2 c flour
1 c buttermilk
1 1/2 c sugar
1 1/2 c oil
1 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vinegar
2 T cocoa
1 oz red food coloring
2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and oil. Add eggs, beat until fluffy. Make a paste from vinegar and cocoa. Add to batter. Add flour, salt and soda; alternating with the buttermilk. Add vanilla and red food coloring. Pour into 3 prepared round cake pans and bake at 350 F for 25 to 30 minutes.

Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting (see recipe in this section)
