Sushi rice:
2 cups short grain rice
4 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
3 TBS rice vinegar
2 TBS granulated white sugar

Filling:
Carrots
Cucumbers
avocado all thinly sliced like match sticks
Imitation crab with mayonnaise

Nori seaweed wrap
soy sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Cook rice as directed. Mix salt and rice vinegar and bring to boil over low heat- (can microwave). Then add sugar and stir until completely dissolve. Then add to rice and let cool. Spread Sushi rice on Nori (green flat sushi wrapper). leave an edge to roll and seal. Then put Cucumber, Carrots, avocado, and crab layered in middle. Water sides and roll together. Dip in Soy Sauce

I remember one Thanksgiving Uncle Mike and Aunt Louise trying to give us some culture by having sushi. Since Troy spent time in Japan-- my family now loves Japanese food :)
