Your choice of many mixtures:

1- sliced cucumbers and red onions
2- sliced oranges sprinkled with coconut, lettuce and
mayonnaise
3- tuna fish or fresh salmon and tomato
4- finely chopped walnuts and currant jelly
5- egg salad
6- sliced ripe olives and chopped nuts
7- chopped raisins and nuts, with lemon juice

Directions:

Toast bread lightly on one side and cut diagonally in half. spread the untoasted side with creamed seasoned cottage cheese and add a layer of any of the above mixtures. Use a very thin white bread or cut crust from regular bread of choice. Serve at parties as appetizers.
