3/4 c sugar for melting

Directions:
Directions:
Melt sugar in a heavy skillet scrapping constantly over low heat. Pour quickly into a baking mold (ie. 2 bread pans or 1 9x13 pan) and set aside. Blend other ingredients and pour into melted sugar. Set mold into roaster filled with 1" water and bake @350 for 1 1/2 hours. If top starts to look burned, set a sheet of foil over flan. Let set 15 minutes and flip out onto a serving platter. Refrigerate until serving.
