2 cups lime
1 gallon water
7 lbs. sliced cucumbers

2 qts. distilled vinegar
4 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 tsp. mixed spices
1 tbsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix 2 cups lime, 1 gallon of water and 7 lbs of sliced cucumbers. Soak 24 hours. Rinse thoroughly.

Soak 3 hours in clear water.

Mix 2 qts. distilled vinegar, 4 tbsp. sugar, 1 tsp. celery seed, 1 tsp. whole cloves, 1 tsp. mixed spices, 1 tbsp.salt.

Let come to a boil. Add cucumbers and boil 35 minutes.

Place in jars and seal.
