12 - 15 lb. turkey (thawed)
Salt
Pepper
Butter, melted
1/2 cup salad oil
4 cups water

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle bird generously with salt and pepper, inside and out.

Mix margarine and oil.

Place turkey in roasting pan breast side up. Pour margarine and oil mixture over turkey. Pour water in pan. Seal pan with heavy foil.

Bake in over at 400 for approximately 3 1/2-4 hours or until tender.

Remove from oven and let cool for an hour before carving.

Use broth for dressing and gravy.
