4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar (or a little less)
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. milk, scalded

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly beat eggs, sugar, salt and vanilla; slowly stir in scalded milk. Pour into flat baking dish and dust lightly with nutmeg.

Bake at 350 until done, about 15 minutes.

Serve cool or chilled.
