1/2 cup dried lentils
1 1/2 cups water
3 carrots peeled and cut into 1" pieces
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup golden raisins
2 Tbsps unsalted butter
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp curry powder
1/2 tsp fennel seeds
Black pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Combine lentils and 1/2 cup of water in a 2 quart casserole. Cover and cook for 5 minutes . (650-700 Watt) oven. Stir in the carrots and another 1/2 cup of water. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in remaining 1/2 cup of water and the remaining ingredients. cover and cook for five more minutes. Serve
