4 quarts corn, cut from cob, don't scrape cob
3 cups water
4 tsp. salt
1 Tblsp. sugar
1/4 lb. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Boil (stir so it doesn't scorch) 5 minutes. Then cool completely. Use ice cubes around the kettle. Then freeze

This is "Grammy's Corn". She and Grampy would buy bushels of sweet corn from farmers during the growing season. This is the recipe that Grammy used to freeze the corn. Grammy always brought this to family meals and there were many family meals where grandchildren needed to be sure it was "Grammy's Corn" before they would eat it.
