6 oz. pkg. Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice
1/4 cup margarine
1 large green pepper, chopped
2 medium onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. chopped chives
4 oz. can mushrooms
8 slices American Cheese
1 cup half and half

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare rice as directed on package. Saute chives, onion, peppers and mushrooms in margarine. Drain rice. Layer rice, sauteed mixture and cheese in large casserole, ending with cheese. Pour half and half over all and bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
