1 can kidney beans
garlic or wine vinegar
salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste

Directions:
Directions:
empty a can of kidney beans into a strainer and run cold water over them to rinse well. Put the beans in a jar and season with the salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Cover completely with the vinegar. put the lid on the jar and refrigerate.

When you make a green salad and wish to add color and tang, add a few of those beans. When you use all the beans, open another can and repeat the process, adding just enought of the same type of vinegar to cover them again. The vinegar mixture can be used repeatedly.
