1 c. brown sugar
1 bottle breir rabbit molasses (green label)
2 heaping tsp's of baking soda
1 c. melted lard
1 c. buttermilk
4 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Combine first 3 ingredients and mix well. Mix in remaining ingredients. Place onto greased cookie sheets and bake for 20 minutes. Brush with egg with a little milk mixed in to it.
