1/2 cup butter, 2 cups sugar, 2 eggs, 2 cups flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 3/4 tsp. soda, 1/2 tsp. salt, 3 chopped baking apples, 1/2 cup nuts

Sauce: 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup butter, 1/2 cup half and half half, 1/2 tsp. rum extract.

Whipping Cream: 1 box small whipping cream, 1/2 cup sugar.

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter,sugar,eggs together. Mix flour,baking powder,soda and salt. Add to butter mixture. Fold in apples and nuts. Pour into 9x13 sprayed pan. Bake@350 for 55- 70 minutes. This is a heavy cake.
Sauce: Mix all together in pan on stove until hot.
Make whipped cream until stiff. Add sugar.
