2 egg whites unbeaten
1 1/2 C sugar
1/3 C cold water
1/4 tsp cream of tartar
dash of salt
l tsp vanilla.

Directions:
Directions:
Combine egg white, sugar, cream of tartar, cold water and salt in top of double boiler. Beat one minute. Continue beating with heat on until mixture forms stiff peaks (about 7 minutes). Remove from heat and continue beating adding 1 tsp vanilla until spreading consistency. Frost cake right away.
