2 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
2 1/2 cups peanuts
1 T butter
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, syrup and water in a saucepan, cook over low heat until mixture comes to a boil, add peanuts and cook until candy thermometer registers 290 Remove from heat and add butter, salt and vanilla, add soda last, mixing well. Spread thinly on 2 buttered cookie sheets, cool completely and break into pieces.

This is Donna's Daddy's favorite. We make him for him for birthdays, holidays, etc. He usually hides it so we won't eat it ourselves!!!!!
