1 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. soda
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Stir dry ingredients together. Combine sugar, butter and milk in saucepan. Bring just to a boil over moderate heat, stir constantly. Cool 5 minutes. Beat in eggs, add flour mixture. Stir well. Stir in chips and nuts. Spread in greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 25 minutes. Sift powdered sugar over top if you wish. Cut into 4 dozen bars.
