3/4 lb sharp cheddar cheese
2 c. elbow macaroni boiled until barely tender
1 T. butter
1 c. milk
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. canned onion rings lightly crushed (opt.)

Directions:
Directions:
Cook pasta. Drain. Add butter, and 1/2 of the cheese. Mix milk, beaten eggs, salt, and pepper. Pour milk mixture over pasta. Cover with remaining cheese. Top with onion rings.

Bake at 325 for 30 minutes or until milk is absorbed and cheese is melted to golden.
