6 eggs
3 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 c. peanut butter
1/2 c. shortening
1 T. vanilla
4 c. unsifted flour
1 1/2 T baking powder (yes, tablespoons)
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c. peanuts

Directions:
Directions:
Combine eggs, sugars, peanuts butter, shortening, and vanilla and blend thoroughly. Add dry ingredients and mix only until smooth.

Spread dough into 2 lightly greased 15 1/2X 10 1/2X 1-inch pans or 3 13X 9x 2-inch pans. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes. Cut into bar and cool in pans.
