1 chopped medium onion, 1/2 C ketchup, 1/3 C cider vinegar, 1/4 C brown sugar, 1/4 C tomato paste, 2 T sweet paprika, 2 T worcestershire sauce, 2 T yellow mustard, 1 1/2 t salt, 1 1/4 t ground black pepper, 4 pounds boneless pork shoulder blade roast cut into 4 pieces.

In a 6 qt slow cooker, stir onion, ketchup, vinegar, brown sugar, tomato paste, paprika, Worcestershire, mustard, salt and pepper until combined. Add pork and turn to coat with sauce. Cook on low for 8-10 hours or until pork is very tender. Transfer the pork to a large bowl. Turn the slow cooker to high, cover and heat sauce until boiling to reduce slightly. With two forks, pull pork to shred and return to slow cooker to heat through. Spoon onto buns and serve.
