2 c. sugar
juice of l lemon
juice of 2 oranges
3 bananas

Directions:
Add enough water in saucepan to cover cranberries. Bring to a boil and lower heat for about 3 minutes. Strain fruit. (I use a food mill that separates the pulp from the fruit skins.) Add sugar. Cool. Add lemon and orange juices and mashed bananas. Freeze in rectangular pan.
Thaw partially and cut into squares so you can either put it in a deep mixer bowl to mash, or use a potato masher. Mix briefly until it gets lighter and fluffy. Spoon it into small plastic cups and freeze again. Then I cover the tops with Saran wrap or put into large plastic bags.

This is my son, Kevin's, favorite holiday dessert. He checks the freezer each time he gets home for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Now our grandaughter, Lauren, does it too!
