3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1 qt. half and half
1 1/2 c. celery cut up
1 1/2 c. potatoes
3/4 c. onions
1 can corn
barley, salt, and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and add flour to make a rue. Add half and half and mix well until hot and thick. Remove from heat.
Meanwhile, cut up celery, potatoes, onions, and barley. Cover with water and boil until just tender.
Mix with half and half and add a can of corn. Salt and pepper to taste.
