4 C chopped potatoes*
1 C water*
1/3 C chopped celery*
1/3 C Chopped onion*
1/2 C chopped carrots*
1 tsp. parsley*
1/2 tsp. pepper*
1-1/2 C chicken broth*
1-1/2 C milk
2 T flour
1/2 lb. American cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the * ingredients and heat until boiling. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. In another pot combine milk & flour, whisk thoroughly. Heat over medium heat until thickened. Add cheese & allow to melt. Add the flour mixture to the rest of the soup.
Heat through on low heat.
