1 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 cup sugar ,1 tsp vanilla, 1 cup butter, 1 egg, 1 tsp. tartar, 1 tsp soda, 21/2 cups flour

Icing
2 cups powdered sugar,1 tbsp. melted butter, 1 tsp, vanilla, 3 tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix powdered sugar,sugar,vanilla,butter,egg,tartar,soda and flour together. Chill for 1 hour.
Roll out and cut with cookie cutters. Bake@350 for 8-10 minutes

Icing- Mix p. sugar, melted butter,vanilla and milk . May use food coloring if desired.
