3/4 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 egg
4 tbsp. of molasses
2 cups flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and roll into small balls and roll them in sugar.
Bake at 375 on greased cookie sheet until brown.
