1 Head of lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 pkg frozen peas
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
8-10 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
6 hard boiled eggs, sliced
2 c mayonnaise
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
tsp pepper
tsp garlic powder
c Parmesan cheese, shredded

Directions:
Directions:
In glass bowl, layer lettuce, onion, peas, celery, water chestnuts and bacon. Make dressing: mayonnaise, sugar, salt, pepper & garlic powder. Pour on top of salad mixture. Top with cheese. Cover with heavy plastic wrap and refrigerate over night. Right before serving, put sliced eggs on top.
