1 head lettuce
bag spinach
2 large Red Delicious or Gala apples, skin on, cut up in chunks or slices
lb. baby Swiss cheese, cut in chunks
1 tin cashews

Poppyseed Dressing:
1/3 c. cider vinegar
c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
tsp. salt (I omitted)
T. Chopped onion
1 T. poppy seeds

Prepare salad ingredients. I generally cut up apples shortly before serving and add a little lemon juice so they don't darken.

Add the dressing to the salad right before serving.
