4 cups day old white bread
2 Tbs melted butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup raisins scalded in
1/4 cup sherry
3 whole eggs
1 tsp vanilla
cinnamon & nutmeg to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, add eggs to milk and stir. Add remaining ingredients and stir, adding the bread cubes last. Pour into a 1 1/2 qt. baking dish and let stand for at least 10 minutes.
Set dish into a larger one filled with hot water and bake at 350 for 1 hour or until set.
