2 layer yellow cake mix baked and cooled
1 quart fresh strawberries
1/4 c white sugar
1 pint blueberries
2 bananas
1/4 c orange juice
2 c vanilla pudding
1c heavy whipping cream
1/4 c confectioners sugar
1/4 c slivered almonds
maraschino cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Slice strawberries and sprinkle with sugar.
Cut bananas into slices coat with orange juice.
Cut cake into 1 inch cubes place 1/2 of cubes in a large glass bowl or trifle bowl
Layer 1/2 of the strawberries then 1/2 of the blueberries then 1/2 of the bananas.
Then spread 1 c of pudding.
Repeat layers in same order.
Whip cold cream in a cold bowl sprinkling in sugar a tsp at a time until stiff peaks. Spread over top of trifle Garnish with almonds and cherries if desired

Substitute different fruits I have done raspberries with kiwi and peaches.
I have also done a low fat low cal version with angel food cake, sugar free pudding, low cal whipped topping not as tasty as the above version but good!
