This recipe for Fresh Salad, by Sylvia deFranza, is from Suwanee Ward Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Lots of salad greens 2 pears 1 can Mandarin oranges segments your favorite vinaigrette dressing
Make sure your salad greens are washed and fresh. Chop the pears into bite-sized pieces. Toss the pears, orange segments and greens together, but don't put the dressing on. Let each individual sprinkle on their own dressing. That way the greens won't wilt. (Sister Seebeck told me this).
