1/2 SMALL ONION, CHOPPED
1 T. FLOUR
1 T. SUGAR
1 t. SALT
1/3 C. HALF AND HALF
3 T. MELTED BUTTER
2 C. FRESH CORN KERNELS OR FROZEN,THAWED
1 10" DEEP-DISH FROZEN PIE CRUST THAWED

PREHEAT OVEN TO 375 DEGREES; COMBINE FIRST FIVE INGREDIENTS IN PROCESSOR, BLEND UNTIL ONION IS FINELY CHOPPED. ADD HALF AND HALF AND BUTTER; PROCESS UNTIL BLENDED. TRANSFERTO LGE. BOWL AND MIX IN CORN; POUR INTO CRUST.
BAKE UNTIL FILLING IS SLIGHTLY PUFFED AND TOP IS GOLDEN, ABOUT 50 MIN.
TRANSFER TO RACK, COOL SLIGHTLY AND SERVE WARM.
