1 1/2 lbs ground beef 1 tsp salt 1 small onion plus 1/3 cup 1/2 tsp pepper 2 (8 oz) cans tomato sauce 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese 1/4 cup sour cream 1 cup cottage cheese 1 (8 oz) package egg noodles
Brown beef, salt, onion and pepper together. Add tomato sauce and simmer 10 minutes. Combine cream cheese, sour cream, 1/3 cup onions and cottage cheese. Mix well and set aside. Cook noodles and drain. Layer in a 3 quart dish, beginning with noodles, cheese, then meat. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
