2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
4 eggs
1 3/4 c. canned pumpkin
1 c. unsweetened applesauce
Confectioner's sugar, optional

In a bowl combine the dry ingredients. In another bowl, combine eggs, pumpkin and applesauce; mix well. Stir into the dry ingredients. Spread into a greased 15 x 10 x 1 in. baking pan. Bake at 350 for 20-25 min. or until lightly browned. Do not overbake. Cool on a wire rack before cutting. Dust with confectioners' sugar if desired.
