1 cup milk
3 cups sugar
8 oz chopped dates
2 cups pecans chopped
1 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook sugar and milk to soft boil. Add dates, Cook 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add other ingredients. Let cool a few minutes. Beat until thick. Roll in damp cloth and chill. Cut in slices.
