1 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Cup Sugar
1 Cup Chopped Dates
1 Cup Nuts
2 Tsp. Soda
1 Cup Boiling Water
1/4 Tsp. Salt
2 Cups Sifted Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 Grease and flour 8x8 pan.
Combine mayonnaise and sugar; add dates and nuts. Add 1 Tsp. of soda to boiling water and stir. Add to date mixture, mix well. Combine remaining soda with salt and flour. Add to date mixture. Pour batter into pan. Bake for 1 hour or until done. Serve plain or with topping such as lite cool whip. This cake is good for someone who is restricted on eggs and fat.
