1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
2 T. milk
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. chocolate chips
raisins, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars until smooth. Add eggs, vanilla and milk. Add dry ingredients. Fold in chocolate chips and raisins. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes.
