1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. butter

1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 eggs

1 1/3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 t. salt

6 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. evaporated milk

Combine ingredients in Group 1 until butter melts.
Add ingredients in Group 2 and mix well.
Sift together ingredients in Group 3, add and mix well. Bake in Bunt Cake Pan @ 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Mix frosting ingredients well. Take outer ring off bunt cake and place warm cake on cookie sheet. Spread frosting on warm cake and put in oven until topping bubbles.

This cake is so moist and delicious. Have some ice cold milk on hand to compliment. ENJOY.
Prep time is more than boxed cake but well worth it!!!
